Atlanta Is Where
It All Started.
Our story in American soccer begins in Atlanta — with a handshake, a scouting trip to Jamaica, and a collaboration with the Berlin Football Association that changed everything.

Atlanta Didn’t Just Give Us a
Market. It Gave Us a Mission.
When Mirko and Marion Dieseler first came to the United States, Atlanta was the city that opened the door. It was here — through a network of soccer professionals, coaches, and families — that TM17pro found its footing on American soil.
The connection to Atlanta runs deep. Long before there were 36 cities and 100+ summer camps, there were conversations in Atlanta about what German soccer methodology could offer American players — and whether a family from Berlin had what it took to build something real.
The answer, as it turned out, was yes. What began with a handshake and a scouting trip has grown into a program that has sent players from Atlanta all the way to Hamburg, to professional clubs in Germany, and back again.
Atlanta is not just a city on our list. It is the city where our American story started.
“Atlanta was the first place in the US that took us seriously as coaches — not as tourists with a European background, but as people with something real to offer. That meant everything.”
— Mirko Dieseler, Founder · TM17proFrom Berlin to Atlanta.
From Atlanta to the World.
Brian James, based in Atlanta, became TM17pro’s very first partner in the United States. His office in Atlanta was the anchor point — the place where the idea of bringing German soccer methodology to American players became a real plan. Brian didn’t just open a door. He opened a continent.
Brian James invited Mirko to his first-ever showcase in Jamaica — to scout players and see the American soccer landscape from the inside. It was a defining moment. One of the players scouted at that Jamaica showcase went on to do a program in Hamburg — the first proof that the bridge between American talent and European opportunity was real.
The collaboration with the Berlin Football Association (Berliner Fußball-Verband) began right here in Atlanta. Rudy Raab — Head Instructor of the Berlin FA and at the time working with Atlanta United FC — became a key partner. The connection between German football education and American development started in Atlanta, with Rudy as the bridge.
The relationship with Atlanta United didn’t stop with Rudy Raab. Over the years, multiple coaches from Atlanta United FC have participated in the TM17pro coaching academy — bringing their professional experience into a framework that now reaches players across 36 US cities. Atlanta United’s DNA is part of what TM17pro delivers everywhere.
From those first Atlanta conversations — with Brian, with Rudy, with the Berlin FA — TM17pro has grown into America’s largest independently operated soccer camp program. 36 US cities. 100+ camps. Hamburg. RC Lens. A goalkeeper academy in Germany. A FIFA-licensed agency. It all started in Atlanta.
The Atlanta Connections
Soccer parents who raised four children through elite youth sport on two continents. UEFA B-licensed, two Master’s degrees each, and a network built over decades in German football. Atlanta was the city where their American chapter began — and where TM17pro proved its concept.
TM17pro’s very first American partner, based in Atlanta. Brian was the person who believed in the concept before anyone else in the US did. His invitation to the Jamaica showcase gave Mirko his first look at American soccer talent — and produced TM17pro’s first transatlantic development story.
The bridge between the Berlin Football Association and American soccer. When Rudy was working with Atlanta United FC, he and Mirko began a collaboration that connected German football education to the US market. The Berlin FA partnership that now underpins TM17pro’s methodology was born right here in Atlanta.
